Rarely do I do repeat recipes for dinner (minus spaghetti and frozen pizza). I am always online to find new ones which usually lead me to cooking blogs. They usually suck me into reading all about the blogger and my recipe search goes astray, but I am now inspired to start my own blog. Mainly a cooking blog, but surely wedding planning and life will sneak in as well.
Lucky for me, back in January of last year I set up a blog & completely forgot about it-not even 1 post. But today when I went to start one up I was already signed in & set up to go. Probably good because after a whole set up and design, I would have lost the gumption to write anything.
Being back in Grand Rapids is beyond word expression. Kurt I think, likes it too. Next to that, there are several other things I am excited about 1. the end of the freeze 2. Bigger apartment 3. Close to friends 4. still getting lost, but at least knowing which side of town I'm in 5. Finally being able to have a Trilliumhavenfarm.com farm share.*
Expanding on #5. Fresh, local organic vegetables every week, more than Kurt and I could ever eat. Optional work share, which neither of us have time for, but I wish I/we did, but still occasional Saturday trips to the farm for u-pick beans and tomatoes when the season comes.
I get bored with reading long posts so this is all for now. Just another quick list. This one is the working meal list for the week:
Rustic Sausage Pasta
Chicken Casserole
Falafel (courtesy of Gina's Kitchen)
Stir-Fry
*this list is not in any meaningful order, from here on out, none of my lists are.
